I love caramelized onions. I also have very little patience. This combo is a problem. I was determined to make a French Onion quiche for my Christmas Eve brunch with my high school friends, but I had stuff to do and no time to caramelize the onions. Then I remembered I had seen you could do it in the crock pot! It sounded like a good idea to me!
And it was. This was so easy and the onions came out so delicious. I kept the leftovers in the fridge so I could add them to everything and I have! This makes the perfect onions, and man your house will smell good! Come back tomorrow for the yummy quiche I made with them! Full recipe to follow the montage.
